Jacobʼs and skylarʼs relationship was just so real. like a teenager being in love – cheesy, cringey, lovely. the way he dealt with his father, the way he loved skylar just the way he is. Jacob was another level of being relateable. i cannot say more than her being my favorite character, being imperfectly perfect. (but iʼll address a few things later on.)Īnd imani? perfect. ![]() and him being nonverbal actually made me feel seen – not because i am nonverbal all the time, but because my autism makes me go nonverbal at times. him receiving love from the people he loves made me actually, genuinely, truly happy. him entering a new stage of his life made me actually, genuinely happy. his struggles felt actually real and still made me sob at times. but it was worth it, wasnʼt it? (donʼt answer incorrectly, noël yhlas.)Įspecially skylar felt way too relateable. poor noël had to listen to my speeches for hours. i loved how relateable they were, how real they felt. it was a great start in the series and i definitely plan on reading more! This was my first noahverse read, but i didnʼt feel like i missed any information. ![]()
